EVO ICL

If you are looking for a vision correction solution that is comfortable, minimally invasive, and offers high-quality vision, the EVO ICL may be right for you. At Hayden Vision, we are proud to offer the EVO Implantable Collamer Lens, a revolutionary procedure that can help you achieve clear, natural vision with minimal downtime.

What is the EVO ICL?

The EVO ICL is a technologically advanced implantable collamer lens that is a comfortable, minimally invasive option for high-quality vision. The EVO ICL is made of a biocompatible, flexible material called Collamer which offers superior optical properties, including high refractive index, low dispersion, and ultraviolet (UV) blocking capabilities.

The EVO ICL is a popular choice for individuals who are not good candidates for LASIK or other laser vision correction surgeries for various reasons such as thin corneas, high prescriptions, or dry eye syndrome. This method of vision correction is an excellent option for those who desire greater visual freedom and want to reduce their dependence on visual aids.

The EVO ICL is a remarkable technology that has transformed the lives of countless individuals, offering them a chance to enjoy clear, natural vision with minimal hassle and downtime.

What Happens During the EVO ICL Procedure?

Before implanting the EVO ICL, your eye surgeon will numb your eye with anesthetic eye drops. Next, they will make a small incision in the cornea’s front surface, the transparent dome-like structure located at the front of your eye.

Your eye surgeon at Hayden Vision will insert the tiny EVO ICL through the incision and place it in front of the eye’s natural lens and behind the iris. The lens is positioned in the eye, and the tiny incision will close naturally during your recovery.

The procedure is done on an outpatient basis, meaning patients can go home shortly after the procedure. You will use eye drops and follow specific instructions for a few days to help your eye heal and minimize the risk of infection.

The EVO ICL offers excellent visual outcomes with minimal discomfort and a quick recovery time.

Who is a Candidate for the EVO ICL?

Although many are excellent candidates for the EVO ICL, not everyone will be. To determine whether or not you may be a good candidate for the EVO ICL, the eye doctors at Hayden Vision can perform a brief, complimentary consultation.

There are a few different criteria your eye doctor will look for when evaluating if you may be a good candidate for the EVO ICL. A good candidate for the EVO ICL is at least twenty-one yearsold, has had stable vision for at least one year, and has healthy eyes free of significant eye conditions orinjury.

There are other factors that are considered as well, including the type of prescription that your eye needs and the proper spacing in the eye to accommodate the lens. It’s important to note that meeting these criteria does not automatically make someone a good candidate for the EVO ICL.

The EVO ICL is intended to correct vision in people who are nearsighted or have nearsightedness with astigmatism.

What are the Benefits of Choosing the EVO ICL?

There are many reasons why someone may choose the EVO ICL. Beyond offering greater visual freedom with reduced dependence on visual aids after the procedure, there are many other reasons why you may be inclined to choose EVO ICL over other vision correction methods.

Here are some of the many benefits of choosing the EVO ICL:

  • Offers a high-quality visual outcome
  • The procedure is minimally invasive and has a low risk of complications
  • Can provide long-lasting vision correction but can be removed if necessary
  • Offers a fast recovery
  • Minimal impact on the cornea
